Why not share my two passions,
horses & art?
More about Stargazer Stables Foundation...
Mrs. Allen graduated from Eastern Va. Medical School with a MS in Art Therapy. Afterwards, she joined the Peace Corps for 27 months as a (NGO) Non Government Organization Volunteer in Romania.
For the past 13 years, she has taught art for the City of Chesapeake on the high school level, currently assigned to Western Branch High School. Mrs. Allen was the City of Chesapeake's elected director for Soil and Water Conservation for 2 terms.
Mrs. Allen has worked with horses for over 30 years and combined her love of horses and art into a fun summer outdoor program.
The kids are introduced to the technical aspects of horseback riding such as correct posture, proper queuing, pieces of tack, and horse body language.
During the heat of the day, all the kids go inside the art studio. Each week offers different art activities based on "themes" such as Indian Week, Pioneer Week, Fantasy Week, Survival Week, Outdoor Craft Week, and Paint Week.

As you know by now Savannah had an absolutely wonderful time at your camp. She's called me twice just since Nicki picked her up today. She mentioned that you wanted to have her come out and help you with the horses and she is ecstatic about the opportunity.
